My company use a proxy server to block the internet access. Normally, i need
to enter the username and password before browse the webpages.
Two day ago, I installed IE 7 in my xp2 pc....after that when I go to browse

When I rename a network place, once I log out of windows and log back on,
there are now two connections to that location.  One with the new name and
the other with the new name and the IP address.  How do I only have the one
connection showing with the name only, not the IP ...

  I have seen this issue but never a complete fix...

Using XP SPII Home I have setup a network between two computers.
