I am unable to connect to anything, my problem is pretty particuliar...
I can ping my router, i get 4/4 sent/received, but i cannot acces it's
configuration page.
I can ping a website, like msn.com, i get DNS resolution, but no response.

I have an XP Pro (SP2) machine that will not respond to ping or any inbound
data requests.  It can access the Internet and network assets fine, but
nothing can access it.  In safe mode ping works fine.  All firewalls are

I successfully set up a home network between my desktop and my laptop which
worked fine (printer sharing etc) with the laptop conneceted via a wireless
router.  Then the other day I got an error message telling me the laptop
