I know how to use either Display Properties or Tweak UI to remove the Network Connections icon from the Windows XP Desktop, but when you double-click on My Computer and browse up one level to the Desktop window in Explorer, it's still there. How can I make the Network

I will make this short and hopefully sweet enough to prompt a response from someone who can help me. Running WinXP Home on 2 Desktops, & 1 Laptop, able to share Bellsouth internet service with no probs through Westell 6100 and using Linksys WRT54G.

I am running Windows XP MCE2005 (XP-Pro) Recently, I have lost the file sharing for disks on this computer. I have File and Printer Sharing enabled in the Network Setup. I have Simple File Sharing turned on in the Folder Options dialog.

I have a netgear wireless router serving both a desktop PC and a notebook. The notebook seems to always work fine but the desktop has intermittent trouble with its internet connection. The computer always shows an excellent connection to the router.

HI, I am trying to setup RDT on a computer using XP Pro and connected via a router. Using help I have enabled my computer to use the service but when I try to connect to mine using a friends computer via either the web or the RDT dialog box I cannot connect.

A software vendor we use required us to change our Windows XP Home Edition network from dynamicly assigned IP addresses to static ones. We still have working Internet access, but Windows Networking and File and Printer sharing no longer works.
