i have two computers, one xp pro and one xp home. i opened an administrator account on xp home which is same as on xp pro and tried to log on xp home with this account as admin. but xp home insisted on to make me Guest. sorry for my terrible english and thanks in advance

I had my networked computers in more than one workgroup and then renamed them all to the same workgroup. All is working well except that I cannot seem to remove or delete the old workgroup names. Can anyone advise me on how to remove my old workgroups under XP?

I have been doing some "tweaking" with my computer in anticipation of upgrading from XP Pro to Server 2003. This computer is one of 4 on a home network. Three are XP Pro and one is XP 2005 Media Edition (I assume that is XP Home).
