Ok I have a home network setup with a couple machines and one router with addy 192.168.0.x mask 255.255.255.0 . I don't want to change anything in the router. I have added a server box for testing lab and want it on 192.168.1.x

Since early March when I know it worked, I cannot sync my computer clocks any more with either time.windows.com or time.nist.gov. This happens on both XP and Vista clients. Time.nist simply reports an error, but time.windows reports this error on all Windows clients:

I am trying to access a character application on a Linux Server, via telnet, inside a Remote Desktop connection. This does not work and I am curious at to why. It would be a boon to me to be able to perform work remotely in this fashoin, rather than setting up a VPN session.
