We have a printer connected to a Windows XP PRO PC that is part of our
corporate domain. We can access that printer from other PCs that are not part
of the corporate domain, but only by entering the PC’s name or IP address
form the "run" command whenever one of the non-domain PCs ...

\\computer is a win XP:
When I type \\computer from a win 2000 Server to XP, gives the error:
"Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at
this computer"

Ever since I installed SP2, I cannot VPN to my office.  The only thing that
changed was the installation of SP2.
When I login, it connects to the server, then comes back to tell me that it
doesn't recognize the user name and/or password (error 691) and gives me a

I have a peculiar problem that I haven't seen before.
This computer is running Windows XP Home - - there are three user
accounts, two are administrators, one is a limited.   They are
connected by wire to Verizon FIOS.

I have two computers as follows:
Desktop, XP Pro SP2 with all updates, ethernet connection to Netgear router
Laptop, XP Pro SP2 with all updates, wireless connection to Netgear router
Followed all instructions in

I cant connect to the internet through my ethernet cable connect but i can
connect through my wireless connection. Nothing lights up it says limited or
no connectivity next to the icon.

computer starts up? I have Broadband and don't know if there is a way i can

how can I enable and disable a network connection, but with a command line,
can I with a ipconfig command, or there is another command?
I have Win Xp SP2.
