My PC is running Windows XP Pro with all the latest Microsoft updates and
has an onboard nVidia gigabit NIC. My second PC is running Windows XP
MediaCenter 2005, with an Intel onboard gigabit NIC. Between these two NICs
is a five port gigabit switch. Networking is over TCP/IP.

I can't access the shares on one computer only.  That computer can access my
shares.  I can access shares on third computer.  That computer can access
shares on both of the others.  So my computer's basic networking is
functional, so is the problem machine's.

XP Home has an internal "Administrator" account.
Why can't a W2K machine where the person is
signed in as Administrator, access resources on
the XPH machine automatically?

Hopefully someone can assist me with this issue. We have approx 75 users and

I have been having constant internet activity lately.  Icon ( both in and
