We have static ip's asigned to our network. I have several people that have to dial a connection to access government programs but recently when we switched out there computer and they dialout, they lose there lan connection and cannot work or connect to servers on the lan.

I'm running 3 Windows XP Pro systems on a LAN which is connected to a high speed cable modem. All computers use 10/100 network cards. Would there be any performance benefits (speed) in replacing one or more of these NIC cards with 10/100/1000 cards?
