With a friend we developed a little software capable to monitor and
shape your network from your personal computer. It is really simple
but still in a beta version, so we need people to try it out and give
some feedbacks.

I'm using XP SP2, and AVG cannot update, Firefox cannot access any website,
and basically any program except Opera that tries to access a server or the
internet is being blocked. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

HUGE response times reported, even though the packets come back quickly.

Windows XP won't talk to Windows 2000 through router.
Here's the issue: I can't get my home machines to talk to each other.
I used to be able to see the "SharedDocs" folder on my wife's system,
but no longer. I've tried several things, but I've run out of ideas.

I'm trying to network them with direct cable connection with the

We have a Windows XP Tablet PC on our domain. When the administrator logs on
to the domain they can change the proxy settings under Internet Options.
However any other users are unable to as it is greyed out.
I've checked group policy and the proxy settings in there are correct.

I have just upgraded a friends computer XP Home) to SP2 and now I cannot
