I'm using XP SP2, and AVG cannot update, Firefox cannot access any website, and basically any program except Opera that tries to access a server or the internet is being blocked. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Windows XP won't talk to Windows 2000 through router. Here's the issue: I can't get my home machines to talk to each other. I used to be able to see the "SharedDocs" folder on my wife's system, but no longer. I've tried several things, but I've run out of ideas.

I've got a mac with Windows XP 64 installed and i want to network it to a PC with Windows XP 32. I've bought a 'Sitecom' wired router and gone through the network setup wizard on each... but i cant see the files on the other computer

I have a Pentium class computer with Windows XP on it that I'm trying to network with a laptop that has Windows 2000 on it. I'm trying to network them with direct cable connection with the laptop as the host and the other computer as the Guest.

We have a Windows XP Tablet PC on our domain. When the administrator logs on to the domain they can change the proxy settings under Internet Options. However any other users are unable to as it is greyed out. I've checked group policy and the proxy settings in there are correct.

It's extremely easy to create your own icons in Windows XP. Here you go: Open paint and on the Image menu, click Attributes. Type 32 for both the width and height of the document, and make sure that Pixels is selected under Units. Click [OK] to create a new 32x32 - pixel
