I am facing a problem with mapped network drive. Problem :- we have softwares that runs using mapped network drive and evn to setup the application it uses mapped network drive.the problem is in windows XP the mapped drive s are getting disconnected after 15 to 20 minutes.

I use a stand-alone computer. Connect to the internet via DSL modem/router. Protected by Windows XP SP2 firewall configured with "No Exceptions" and "Don't allow Exceptions" selected. Is it necessary and/or advisable to enable "TCP/IP filtering for all adapters?"

I need help on this little thing. A few Pc's that we have on a school network will not join to the domain. It see's that it is connected to a network as the two computers in the corner are plashin but they just won't join to the domain, any idea's?

Whenever I try to make changes to LAC properties or click Show Icon in Notification area when connected box and click the Close button it freezes up on me. Then have to go to Task Manager and force quit; what's up with that?
