Sorry to pose this question again but thread broke. My daughter at college is having a problem with staying connected.She can connect with no problems. After about 5 minutes she get a cannot find server in response to any attempt to move off the page she is on.. Tried mozilla

I run two machines on a home LAN. One for office use and the other is of course for gaming. Neither has had any issues for quite a while. Turned on the gamer (it has two NIC ports but I only use one) and it is showing that neither NIC has any connectivity(shows "UNPLUGGED")

I have XP Home SP2 bundled with my notebook and my notebook has Broadcom BCM4318 wi-fi adapter on it. And i have US Robotics Wireless router. I'm having frequent wireless drops which are not notified with in "taskbar" or in "event log".

My wireless network (desktop connected by Ethernet to Linksys Wi-fi router, second desktop also connected via Ethernet, laptop with Wi-fi) was working perfectly until I went away last weekend and used the laptop on another network via a direct Ethernet connection.
