xp pro on workgroup, guest disable, with two administrators accounts.
the Local Policy allow to evryone access from network.  but when i try
to access to the files from other PC, I got logon dialog that user is
guest, and no way to change it?

I am having some troubles trying to set up a remote connections between my
lap top and desktop. Desktop is running XP Pro. Laptop is running XP Media
Center. When i try to add remote users, it is telling me that it can't find
the computer.

I have setup an XP pro machine with shared directories and printer, but when
I try to access any of it from a 98 pc it asks for a password. I haven't
setup any passwords, and anything I try doesn’t work.
Have I missed something?

I have XP Pro and a LAN to other boxes also with XP.
All boxes get to the Internet okay through a gateway, but am having LAN problems.
For years it has fine where everyone had access to all boxes until for some
strange reason it stopped.

I have a Dell Latitude D600 running XP Pro that has starting having
problems. I can't connect to the internet either wirelessly or through
a wired connection. It gets the wrong IP address and when manually
entered in along with the correct DNS servers and gateway IE 8.0 just

I have a small home network.  Two desktops running XP pro, one desktop
running 2000 pro, and a laptop running XP pro.  The two XP desktops connect

extract my passwords, particularly for my home network connection.
Obviously, I can get into my admin account, but there seems to be nowhere
