I would like to know if its possible to have two Network interfaces (1 wired (default) , 1 wireless (backup)) with different gateways and have Windows XP Pro SP2 perform automatic routing to the wireless network if the gateway for the wired connection goes down.

Hi I have the same problem as reported by a few others here but I have 5 laptops (all identical Dells running xp sp2), all of which connect to a shared drive on a 2k3 server using individual (active directory) login credentials (from the same server).

I have 22 systems that are spread out among 350 systems in one of our offices. We want to be able to script out the changing of ip addressing on these 22 systems that have static addresses. Does anyone have any ideals on how to do so? Anyone ever attempted somthing like this?

I was just uninstalling items from the ‘add and remove’ window; and I came across zonealarm. I had stopped using it years ago and thought I had removed it long ago. I guess I didn’t. Anyways once it was uninstalled and I had rebooted I couldn’t connect to the internet.

I have just purchased and installed a 4-port Netgear router, and have successfully connected it to my host computer (which is connected to the Internet via wired Cable Broadband). I say "successfully" because all messages said so when I ran the setup wizard.
