I was setting up a particular network for a client of mine and after setting
it up for them, I have now sold the system to them but I still have the
settings and SSID name on my system.
How do I completely remove all evidence of this so as I can start from

My ISP is Comcast.  I talked to a technical support person about
hosting a website with IIS or Apache and they said it was not allowed
by comcast.  Does anyone have any idea why this is?  It seems pretty
stupid that they would not allow you to do this.  It seems even

I recently updated my firmware in my linksys wrt54g router and then MSTSC
quit working. I keep getting cannot connect to host computer error message.
I've tried rolling back the firmware and still can't connect. Now I've heard

I'm working on a Dell Inspiron 600m that is having trouble connecting to the
internet. The Inertnet Gateway in the Network Connection Control Panel say
"Connecting" but never does. IE7 cannot get out to the internet, but Mozilla
has no problem. No matter what page I try to browse ...

I have two computers using two printer.  The computers are networked using a
router (not wireless).  I want to be able to use either printer with either
computer.  I am using Win Xp on both computers.  How can I connect  use
either printer?

the setting randomly switches to (Use a proxy server for your LAN).
This does not happen when I do a specific action, but several times a

nI have Windows XP with SP2 on two computers in a LAN configuration.
Both computers talk fine thru my cable modem to the outside world. I have
two of them connected to a Linksys router. So I have no reason to think there
is a hardware failure.

On one of my friend's computer using XP Pro SP2, if Windows Firewall
is turned ON, after i click his computer in "view workgroup
computers", i can access his computer after 30-45 seconds, if Windows

I'm having trouble routing packages from one network to another's
router.
This is the configuration:
PC1: Windows XP Pro / 192.168.100.11, 192.168.184.1

every so many day my desktop and especially my laptop gets sluggish and slow
when I get on the web.I unplug my cable modem and also my linksys router and
plug them back in and then I regain my normal speed.Any reasons why I have to

I have a box, MYBOX, with two NICs. NIC A should act as dhcp client,
connecting to a LAN1. NIC B acts as a dhcp-server for LAN2, forwarding the
traffic on NIC A.
