Changed broadband providers today and think it messed up my network/email
security or something.
I've set up my new email pop/smtp servers but this account will not send

I'm trying to connect a PC with Win98 by means of device D-Link DWL-G122 to
a WLAN managed by wireless router D-Link DI-524 (managing also 2 PCs with
WinXP on a LAN) and I don't succeed in pinging the PC notwithstanding the
icon on tray bar says it is connected. Now:

Came back from trip to discover that Dell C610 laptop could no longer
access the web on my home network.
Tried wireless; tried ethernet...no luck! (Network is otherwise OK--

I want to get names of avaible LAN computers available currently on
the same LAN, same as "only" names shown in "view workgroup
computers". I want to get it from command prompt and i know "net view"
does it. But i ONLY want to get computer names without "\\"prefix.

I want to know the IP address of a printer.  Are there any software that
can do this for me remotely or otherwise?  I tried printing the
configuration page from the printer but the IP address is somehow blocked.
This is a public printer used by all but managed by an ADMINISTRATOR.  ...

my husband left me on the 8th of october becoz he had some losses in

I noticed that frequently after downloading a program through Firefox
and running the *.exe through Firefox download manager that I get an
error message that the program is not compatible with NT4. I didn't
think I had NT4! So checked it out and sure enough it running along

I have a computer that is connecting to the network and sending
packets but won't receive packets.  It is running XP SP2 and I checked
that it does not have the same IP as any other computers on the
network.  Can somebody please help me?

Typically it's around 2%
