A few routers on my LAN are connected to the Internet. I configured the gateway of Windows XP to an arbitrary IP address on a different subnet than my LAN, I could still access Internet. Windows XP is able to find a router to use as its gateway to the Internet.

Diagnostics say that all hardware is working properly, but can not connect to the internet at all. Right now, in a Wireless Network environment and with Wireless Card enabled, it is not picking up the (quite strong) Wireless Network... Dial-up doesn't work either.
