I have set up a home network with XP (host - connected directly to the
internet) and Windows 98 (client). From the XP computer I can map the C:
drive of the 98 computer and access data files and the network icon in the
tray of the 98 computer says "internet gateway: connected".  ...

I have a small home network with 3 computers (2-XP, 1-Vista).  Is there
anyway to setup email on the network so all computers share common in/out
boxes, contacts, etc?  I don't mind purchasing software if something exists.
I would prefer that all PCs run either Windows Mail or ...

Good morning from Wisconsin,
I am responsible for administering a network of 13 WinXP Pro machines
that connect to a fileserver running WinXP Pro.  I am well aware of
the ten-connection limit, and the issue that I have is that by running

2 nodes (both xp computers) attached to a cheap unmanaged hub which is then
connected to Rogers Modem.
Both computers can access the internet.  Node 2 can access the printer
attached to Node 1.  But they cannot see each other.  I have shared the C:

i am having consistant trouble loading a bunch of websites that used to
work for me and it seems the trouble may be spreading to more websites.
things like ebay, hydrofarm, netflix, etc.  all these websites used to
work fine, but just lately they don't. i use firefox but i tried ...
