Why does ping, ping to the wrong address?  I have two computers, both
Windows XP, on a router to my Internet connection.  One named compxp has
(at least right now) the address 198.162.1.100. But when I ping I get :

I have an XP Home SP2 PC, a Vista Home Premium laptop and an Orange Livebox

My network problem is instability in the Internet access on my Windows XP
SP2 Professional connected directly on the router with a UTP cat 5e.
My notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium access the Internet smoothly,
