Slow Network Browsing - MS Office09 Apr 2008 02:20 GMT2
We have a small network, w2k Server and a combination of win xp Pro desktops
and notebooks all with MS Office 2003.
One of the notebooks seems to freeze up for a minute when trying to browse
for an attachment using Outlook, and will regularly do the same when

Running Win XP pro SP2 on 4 machines,,, peer to peer LAN (workgroup)
My problem is, I can not connect to any of the shared folders I’ve created
on one of the machines from any of the other machines. Each machine can open
any of the default Shared Doc folders for each of the users ...

Like Ron, several posts back, We have been running 5 machines on XP for 4
years with no problems. Then, all of a sudden last Fri afternoon the other 4
machines could not print to a dot matrix printer located on Problem XP. This

I have 6 laptops all the same model, I am connecting them through a standard

Windows Vista Premium & XP Home network comprising wireless router,
old desktop XP PC and one new  Vista laptop cable-connected to router, plus
2 laptops wireless-only connected.
When I click "View Network Computers" from the cable connected laptop, the
