We are using Novell now, but will be converting to Windows for network

Since we have installed XP SP3 on several computers, it is not possible to
get the DNS servers from our DHCP. The dns servers are just missing (checked
with ipconfig /all). With XP SP1 and SP2 it works perfectly. If I type in the
DNS servers manually, it works fine as well.

when I use IP address I can save file in FTP site, but in command line when
I use the name and path to the FTP site after a while give me this message:
can't build data connection: connection timed out. any ideas?
