My Internet Connection is not working and I've diagnosed the problem is with DNS, but can't seem to figure out how to repair. I searched this newsgroup but did not see anything resembling my situation. I can connnect to anything via ip but not by domain name.

Two computers - 1 XP Pro SP3, the other Vista Basic. They can see each other through a router, that's great. But, the XP machine always asks for logon credentials before the Vista computer can access the XP box. The Vista box doesn't ask for logon credentials of the XP box.

I have upgraded my pc, and several others from IE6/7 to IE8. I am now having several issues with opening hyperlinks in outlook. I click on a link, and IE8 opens two windows, one is a blank screen, and the other is the homepage.
