I have a network with 13 HP DC5750 desktops. Almost all of them are exhibiting a strange behaviour. They drop the network connection for a few seconds, and then reconnect. In the event log, I see this event repeatedly:

While setting up my network, I answered yes to making my user folder private. I cannot find a way to undo this and now cannot access my folders from my laptop. Anyone know how I can undo this?

Running two XP Pro Sp3 computers in peer-to-peer LAN. Network was working ok until a few days ago. Now "Computer 2" (C2) can no longer access shared drives or folders of "Computer 1" (C1). Error message "Network path could not be found."

had Window 2000, installed Window xp. firstly, I cannot get on the internet (AOL is my ISP) secondly, I therefore cannot register/activate my xp. where to go from here? can I register/activate on another computer in the house? 1 runs xp and the other runs 2000?

I just got a cable ISP (Comcast) a few days ago, and find some weirdities going on. After solving some of them I have a real puzzler. I can be going along just fine, surfing the internet, reading a newsgroup, checking email - when out of nowhere my dial-up will dial up!
