I been trying to update a few things because I just got a new computer with
XP on it and when I got to a few sites to update it takes forever and and
then the page is gray and can't update I've been to nero, visioneer are just
two of them what can I do.

My generic PC has XP Pro. When I try to open a floppy I
used in my old pc w/ Win 98, it keeps asking me if I want
to format this disc which HAS info on it! How can I fix
this? I still have lots of floppies w/ Win 98 and a fe w/

When I enable the taskbar autohide function, the taskbar
disappears, as expected. however, when I move the mouse
over that area, it comes back and will not hide again.
Even after i move the mouse away, the taskbar stays there.

I am attempting to Local Area Network two computers in my home, using
a D-Link card in the old system, connected to a NetGear router on the
new system.  Both systems indicate that the link is good, but I don't
know how to communicate between the computers.

I wanted to change the name from administrator to my own
but  it appeared that the only way was to create a new
administrator. I did this and lost the old one and all of
it's settings. Now I am stuck with this new "bare bones"

On one machine, I have shared three different directories.
But only one of them shows up on the network.
