Somehow the alignment of web pages within IE has changed from centered to
flush left.  How do I change it back?

The basis for these questions is that I want to set up a
new account for myself (Dad) so I do not have to use
the 'Owner' profile on a day to day basis since it seems
risky should something go awry.

I recently had to reinstall XP Home.  I then reinstalled Office XP Small
Business, and have been having a problem.
Every time I open a component of Office, such as Word or Excel, I get a
message box titled "Installing components for Microsoft Excel (or Word)".

The other day I decided  to open up Microsoft Encarta on my new XP machine.
It said it wanted to deposit a cookie (I THINK it said "cookie", but I'm not
100% sure).  Well, I figured I could always delete it so I stupidly clicked
"Yes".  Now I can't delete it !

Can anyone tell me how to change this in OE? I thought I had but it dosen't

i am using Microsoft Outlook with 3 users on the computer. my Outlook works
OK but the other two are missing their Send/Receive button from the toolbar.
can anyone help?

I have the same problem of trying to set control on the
machine for my kids not to temper with the set programs on
the computer.
I, for example, have a document that's been locked up in a

from other -- like your kids!  I have some financial and

software running at setup.
I looked today and I see alot of software that starts on startup like
QuickTime and AIM but the programs are not in any of the StartUp great so I
think its in the reg.  can someone please help me the best way to stop them

i am trying to format my hard drive. I get to the dos
prompt and enter Format C: then it prompts me to put in
HP_PAVILION, then it tells me if i would like to force a
dismount on this volume, i type yes. Then tells me Cannot
flickering display on start-up14 Nov 2003 14:13 GMT1
Here is the problem--I just upgraded(?)to XP Home from
98SE, now when I first start up the machine, or when it
comes out of hibernation, the display is really garbled
and fuzzy, almost like a television with a bad reception.
