I have a problem in my scanner buttons.  I have an hp
scanjet 3500c.  The scanner only scans when i run the
software manually, but when i press one of its buttons no
software is being loaded.  The scanner is working

When I go into my add/remove programs files, there are
listed over 45 files of Windows XP Hotfix.  Each
containing different numbers (of course)  I know these
are ones that I loaded thru my Microsoft update program,

I am running Windows XP-Home on a Toshiba Satellite
laptop. I have Yahoo, Hotmail, and Verizon e-mail accounts
set up on OUtlook Express. Everytime I try to send a

need some SERIOUS help for some bad problems. Somehow,
since I am a "newbie", I have duplicated the directory
tree on my hard drive. There is a lot of repeat listings
under different folder and file locations. I can tell

Trying to upgrade from 98 to XP home. Instalation stops,
message reads " remove windows fax client". To my
knowledge there is no fax software of the pc. Any ideas?

I used to be able to download files just fine, and now things don't work any
more.
My machine crashes regularly (I DO need a new one) so I think it may have
corrupted something.

I really hope they will reconsider. Anyone using a MS mouse for gaming and
has enjoyed for years now the ability to assign buttons 4 and 5 to standard
keyboard keys, or anyone who used the "keystroke" ...

Every time I try to access microsoft Word I am asked for
a 25 character cd key. I duly enter this key into the
boxes shown on the screen but am continually told that
the key is invalid.
