I just purchased a laptop with Windows XP on it (am used
to using 2000) and it won't allow me to load my original
programs. Getting an error message stating "Not a win32
file" Any suggestions? I am logged as the administrator.

Recently installed xp and when the desktop screen appears
I get a small box with the word RunNet in the bar at the
top.  The message below is "component csras32.ocx or one
of its dependancies is not correctly registered a file is

each time I select a restore point and I created 3 since
installing windows xp all I get is a message telling me
that I cannot restore to this point which is very annoying
when you rely on this facility for system recovery.

Im trying to create my own web page, but as usual I am
having problems.  Im getting instructions from ntl on how
to create my own basic web page, but my problem is when i
go to save it in notepad, and I go to refresh my browser

I have just installed Kodak software for my digital
camera. My photos that I have in folders in my Dell Image
Expert program are all changing to the Kodak format. How

I have a piece of unfortunately essential software that, under '98, required me to 'restart in MS-DOS mode' and wouldn't operate as a DOS window in the windows environment.  Is there any comparable way to do that with Windows XP??

I have finally reached the end of my string on this one.  
I am now also getting MS messages that a serious error
occured, I send a report, and get back a generic message
that some driver caused the problem.  But they don't give

When connected to the internet, I can not bring up any web pages, mail, or
newsgroups.  What would cause this?

Defrag doesn't defrag11 Nov 2003 21:57 GMT7
Whe I defrag my main drive, it still looks extremely fragmented, no
matter how many times I defrag it.  It appears my "My Documents" and
PST files are not being defragemented.
