the system has been shutting
down few times. There was some message about NT Authority

Hi I have a laptop (650 Mhz Celeron) that is running on
Windows ME and a desktop (Pentium II 400 Mhz) running on
windows 98 SE.   Would it be OK to upgrade these computers
to Windows XP?

I recently purchased a second-hand PC with included XP
Home. I can change the name of the User/Administrator on
the log-in page, however many files (including "My
Documents") are still named after the original owner.

PowerQuest used to have a utility, Magic Mover, for moving applications from
one drive to another. Does any one know of another application that will do

Express as an attachment,,The recipient receives the

My bios battery needs to be replaced, and fortunately for me it is
removable/replaceable.  I just want to know if after putting in a new one if

I have a new Sony computer running XP Home and IE.
IE fills out the full screen from top to bottom and side to side, however,
any web page only fills up about 3/4 of the screen width.  Web pages fill
out the IE frame from top to bottom, but the page is flush to the left side

192.168.254.2.  I went to WHATISMYIP.COM and found my IP is something
different!?

I have a lot of downloaded Adobe Acrobat Documents. I
want to do a text search of the PDF files to locate a
certain document. I am unable to do a text search using
Internet Explorer.
