I've only upgraded from win98se a couple of days and need to learn the basics of XP home. Can anyone advise me of some websites that will help? Also do you need to make backup disks for my files ect in XP?

I used START & RUN & D:DRIVE to setup XP but was told it should have been DOS, where can I find DOS, also I have activated the XP with Microsoft if I used DOS to reload setup will the activation still be ok.
