After a recent upgrade of XP I ended up with about 30 files like the one shown above. These are all in the C:\Windows folder. Do these have to be kept? My system has been working just fine for over a couple of months. Thanks for any help here.

I noticed that Windows has a service pack 1a for XP users. Apparently this can be used in place of the "original" service pack 1 that was released in Sept 2002 (assuming you haven't already loaded service pack 1)
