I just built a new computer and loaded Windows XP Pro as
an OS. I tried to do a backup using the backup utility in
Windows and selected my CD burner as a destination for
the backup. When I click to proceed w/the backup, I get a
slooooooooooow to open...!!!!!14 Dec 2003 21:45 GMT1
New problems with my IE6 and Windows Explorer.
Both are slow to open. Windows Explorer takes a minute or 2 to fully open.
IE6 takes 3+ minutes to open and  to open my home website.
This is new and unacceptable!!

That is all I want to know, how to remove this program that I don't like and

You guys helped before.  I hope you can help again.  I'm using WXP-home

I was able to do Cut and Paste of two different scannings
( Paperport6.0 w. a Visioneer Scanner) easily. I could

When I upgraded to win xp from 98 se , dvd player
worked.As a stand alone install of xp , the dvd player
wont play region 2 discs.

Since upgrading to XP I occasionally find Messenger logging on by itself.
I've cancelled Auto log on in Outlook Express and unchecked the boxes in the
General tab of Messenger yet it still starts up. Funny thing is that it does
not always do this. Any suggestions welcome....

I get an error message when I start up my computer:
WJView Error: Could not execute main.  The system could
not find the file specified.
Anyone know what this means/how to resolve it?

When I start up my computer, I receive this message:

I scanned all tabs in msconfig for "wjview" entries, but

When you create a new user for the first time it asks you to select the acount type. The only one it allows you to select is admin. Then the next time you go to log on the Orginal Admin is gone. How can i prevent this from happening?

after i have scdeduled a backup it will not start up.
i have backed up files with no problems, but scheduling
it do not work at all.

Installed XP pro & old reliable HPLJ II on LPT1 will not print.  Worked fine with ME
Test page flashes ready light 3 times but no printing.
Any ideas other than buying a new printer?
