How can I change a default value to always use Windows Media Player instead of QUicktime whem I'm viewing vids???? I need Quicktime for another app, so I cant delete it.  Thanks

Using Win XP Home and certain folders in Windows Explorer use a blue
font to list the files. At some point these folders changed form using a
black font to a blue font, but I have no idea why. Can anyone suggest how

I have a few things that seem to be starting up

4 days on and I'm still having problems re-installing WinXP.
Have formatted both hard drives 22gb and 40gb. Set the smallest as main
drive in the bios. Formatted it using a floppy boot disk and then tried to
install winxp. Runs through the process as far as the "starting windows"

If I recall aright 98 used to have a clever little component that made
applications more accessible on the disk (or whatever) so they loaded
quicker.  Since the new graphics card arrived my xp pro takes about 8 mins
to boot and a further 6 mins for Outlook Express to appear.

After reinstall of Outlook 2002 and setting my account I get a "The
operation failed" when hitting send/recieve.
Though, when checking the connectivity during account setup it comes up
