Is there a program in Win (or an accessory) that will enable me to chop off

Whenever I open a folder it reverts to a full page view. I've changed
the view to what I want and click "remember folder settings & apply to
all folders" but after reboot it always reverts back to full page
views. Any ideas  as to how to save folder settings?

I use Microsoft Works 2002 calendar (I don't have Outlook) daily and am wondering if there is a way to set it to come up automatically when I turn on my computer each morning, instead of having to click on the quick launch calendar icon, then click on Works Calendar, then click ...

Tool Bar Question20 Jan 2004 17:39 GMT3
Using IE6 and XP home.  I recently downloaded the Google Tool Bar primarily
for its great pop-up blocker.  Is there a way for me to position it as part
of the IE toolbar so it won't take up an extra "line" of space?  I would
prefer to "place" it next to the optional IE icons at the ...

After my Dad died, my mom gave my son Grandpa's 3 yr old Compaq Presario.  Specs on the computer are pretty much straight from the store - my Dad used it to check stock prices and do e-mail, the only software he added that didn't come with the computer was Microsoft Office. It ...

That PrintFolder 1.5 software....20 Jan 2004 10:12 GMT2
This was recommended here to print the names of all my wav and midi files
from Windows Explorer.  We both spent a long time reading the Help files
which are NOT geared to a beginner.  We can't figure out how to make it
PRINT the list from WE once the folder is selected since there ...
PrintFolders  #320 Jan 2004 10:09 GMT1
This is all it saves to the Notepad to print.  The names of the wav files
in the folder selected are not there.  Also there is no way to reset this
program to select another folder to try.  Opening and closing it just
brings up the same wav folder.

First, a thank you! to the experts here.  I had a disaster (caused by installation of a Sony software, dammit!) and decided to upgrade to Win XP Pro while solving it.  All the major problems I had, such as loss of Office Express folder and emails, sound card problems, getting my ...
