When I start up my computer, XP loads as usual.  Then
Somehow the welcome screen is bypassed and the
Administrator login is opened automatically.
How do I stop this from happening without disabling the

I just upgraded from Windows ME.  Everything seems fine
for about 3-5 minutes.  I then get an error message that
says "RPC Services Terminating Program" and the system
shuts down in 60 seconds.

When attempting to save a image that is within a O.E. e-mail by right
clicking
the image I always get the 'My Pictures folder' to save to.
Want to bypass this, and send right clicked images to Temp folder on 'C'

I have a friend who uses Windows 2000 Pro.  We cannot get our
identical Logitech webcams to work together using Yahoo messenger.  I
can see him but not hear him, except for occasional blips. (Once I
kind of heard him but it was hard to understand).  He can see me and

I've had no automatic restore points for 3 days, although I can still
manually create a point.
The only change I've made is usually I have an external HD permanently
attached via usb to my pc, and I have taken this off.

Ok guys, here's another one.  I never had problems finding anything in W95
and W98.  I have these instructions and can't follow them because we can't
locate this "root folder".  FIND can't find it either (FIND doesn't locate
many things we look for).

I'm hoping someone out there can help me.  I'm trying to
play the slots at simslots.com but they won't load
properly.  The games will play but the video is all out
of aline.  The specific applet I tried was slot38.  Is

I recently downloaded and installed XP Service Pack 1
from the microsoft site.  Then I checked my XP install CD
and noticed that Service Pack 1 was included on the
install CD.  Do I have Service Pack 1 installed twice
