Please excuse repost however my original post has been included in an old
thread about another problem entirely.
My pc has started losing my restore points.  I looked this afternoon & there
were two restore points for today and one for yesterdsy; all previous ones

my home computer.  I don't want it.  If I run restore I
will lose too much stuff.  My question is: If I buy a
legal copy of Windows xp professional and download it

After seeing the warning about not running my computer as
an Administrator, I set up a user account for "m".  The
problem is that m's start menu is missing two programs,
Word and a Canon program, that the Administrator account

to email several MP3 voice/sound files to my boss daily.  These files range
in size from 2000 to 8000 kb each.  It is taking forever for these emails to
