I've installed spybot as per the recommendations of this
site.  I would like to know what Back Web lite is?  Should
this be deleted?  All the other items were checked and

had windows 98 with WORD I loved it but XP doesnt have it

Downloaded a privacy program, it put porn links on my destop that will not go away, if i locate source, and delete. they come back after reboot. the files are internet shortcuts. It also changes my IE favorites to the same porn links.

Loaded Windows XP and now I cant find nor open any programs including microsoft office.  When I open excel it says it is not installed.  OTher programs are missing files.  I tried the compatibility program but that does not work

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I just upgraded from
Win98 to Windows XP.  With Win98 and a CRT the colors
printed matched what you saw on the screen.  In Windows
XP with the flat panel monitor the colors don't match.
