I just bought a new computer and something is causing the
System32 folder window to popup on startup.  Not sure
what has caused this.  I went out to Microsoft's

This is a stupid question but I need to know.  I have installed xp on my desktop that was running ME.  I need to install XP on my laptop that is running 98.  Can I use the same program or do I need to purchase another copy of xp?

I am trying to copy files to a CD-RW for back up purposes
on my Fujitso Amilo laptop.
I am using the standard process within XP and all seems
to go well and I am informed that the process is complete

I recetly installed XP Home over Win 98 now I get:

What does this mean?
It comes about every 15 or 20 minutes?

I recently tried to upgrade to xp pro but when prompted
for my product key,typing the 25# code that came with my
upgrade I recieve an error message invalid product key??

why when I try to download a patch for ie6 would it tell me that ie6 must be installed on your computer!!! I checked my version and it says ie6 and when I go to control panel it shows internet explorer sp 1 intalled ?  Would anyone have an idea on this???

How many of you use the "Fax Console" that comes with Windows XP ?  I just

Hi, just upgraded my computer to a custom-built
configuration with the following:
Asus m/b, AMD Athlon XP 2400+, 120GB HDD, 512 MB DDR,

somehow I lost Paint that came with my system. I have not used it for a very long time so, I son't know when it became missing. How can I get it back? I have winxp home, ie6, aol 9. Thanks for any help.
