Firstly I installed windows xp professional myself, but skipped through the
user info. Anyway appartently that gave me an administrator account which
was only visible whne no other accounst where installed.

small problem.
I am running XP Pro which has developed a problem and I could not boot.
Anyway I reinstalled onto a spare partition and now have 2 windows installed
(1 OK, 1 corrupt). I had a password on my user account on the old

i have a couple of problems on my computer.  it does not
shutdown but rather restarts spontaneously.  it seems to
do this on cue when i try to start my aol program.  it

I do this? I can't find it on XP PRO CD, nor can I find it doing a

I just spent hours with on-line tech support so that I
could upgrade from Me to Xp.  I could not get my backed up
data to convert to XP because the format was wrong.  
MSbackup extension is .qic which is not supported by Xp.
