Before I reformatted this pc, I used to be able to go into My
Computer......then click Local Disk C....Documents and
settings.....Linda.....Local something, and then a couple more clicks, and

i set policies on my xp pro but i managed to have the
policies affect my limited "Family" account and my "Wil"
admin account.  how do i set policies so my little
brother cannot install files screw anything over and view

I have an APC UPS that is connected to the PC via a serial cable.  Cannot
install the UPS software as it cannot find the UPS in XP.  I have installed
a new serial cable and have the correct software to use in XP.  Any help

i have a dos type window that appears every time i start up. on the top it
reads c:\windows\system32\dllcache\ftp.exe  and in the window it has ftp>
can anyone tell me what is wrong
