I've tried to do it several times, but I can only save separated files. Help me.

I have a new laptop and using XP for the first time. As a
minister I have many old text files from different
programs to seach from time to time. In 98 I could go to
Explorer/tools/find and type the text and will would give

when ever I try to open Internet explorer I
get a error "winshow.dll is missing"
and ineternet explorer will not open
any know what this error message is??

When starting the computer it goes to the log on screen and password.  It however will except not authorized users or their passwords and I'm unable to get passed that screen to even figure out what the problem is.  Have tried shutting down and restarting.  Any ideas?

Starting about a month ago, when I start my PC I get the
following message:

I have Outlook on my laptop. which recently crashed.  I have this new computer which has a MSN. com email accoun I want to transfer my whole OE email back!!!

I  seen to have lost my vidio picture when trying to view a tutorial C D  .Loads fine with sound, brand name and illustration
etc. As soon as i select the topic, the picture is replaced by a diagonal red lined screen.At the top of the screen it says
        Vidio not available  ...

My administrative Tools folder is empty. I run Win XP prof.
Is there any way to get it back. Is it on my computer of do I have to
install it. How would I do that?
