Computers keep me humble....  I recently bought a new one
and it came with XP Home.  I cannot, for the life of me,
figure out how to just start typing a document and then
save it where ever I want.

what do you do when you  are doing a recovery on computer and your computer doesn't have a file to start windows xp on your computer when you have a recovery system and recovery discs?

tried to re-install XP Pro, as the system had bedome
unstable.
Win XP starts the install, and then gives me this error

I have XP home but Office 97, I haven't tried installing Office 97 yet.  Didn't want to waste time if it will not work

Is there anyway to password protect a folder?
I can deny other users right/access to a folder, but I can not password
protect a folder under my own user name or anyone else's.
