I keep getting a returned e-mail. I do not even know this person.
Is it a virus? I use outlook express 6. I am using windows xp pro.
Zone alarm and avg anti-virus programs.
How can I stop these e-mails? Not even listed in my address book.

I recently upgraded to Windows XP from Win98.  I have an
Aureal Vortex sound card.  I ran the Windows update and
installed the drivers for the Aureal card now when I
switch from one window with sound to another, my computer

I am a new user to XP and have inadvertently caused some
problems that I can't seem to fix to my satisfaction. I
was wondering if there is a way to return the OS to the
original configuration out of the box so I can start over.

I would like to use winupdate but I get "Administrator's only"
warning/error message. I'm the only user, I do have an adm profile, and
another with my name followed by /administrator in it. I tried to delete
the "administrator" one but can't, this has my name in it also, like

I haven't been able to hot sync my palm handheld since I
upgraded to XP.  It doesn't autodetect the USB
connection.  Device manager says that all USB ports are
working properly.

Cannot delete read messages in inbox. Have tried
shift/delete and right mouse click/delete, messages still
visable. Any other suggestions.

Advice ?  i just upgraded to XP and lost the subaccounts
I had on Outlook Express.  My spouses email is no longer
there?  Has anyone else had this problem?  How did you
recover it?

The following string is from a solution to a problem byWill Denny courtesy
of Doug Knox. I used the utility and it worked as needed to change the
System Properties shown in My Computer. However, there is still an anomaly
that I cannot correct.

In Win 98, each time I inserted one of my data CD-R's into
the drive, Windows Explorer would show the CD volume name,
correctly.
But, in Win XP Pro, this only works for the first CD I insert

Using an administrator account on my Windows XP Home
Edition PC, I ran userpasswords2 against one of the
accounts.  This yielded an error which I eventually found
in MCs knowledge base (article 817365).
