On my C: drive I have a folder called 6in1ico. I have no idea what it is!.
It has within it 2 files called Media-in1.ico and No_Media1.ico.
If I try to delete the folder I get dire warnings saying that my programs
will stop working .

After upgrading from ME to XP Pro, nothing happens when I click
Start/Search/For Files or Folders - even though I'm logged in as
administrator.

We just bought Windows XP Home Edition, installed it and
have a few problems.  We have Road Runner as our DSL and
we can get on RR but not AOL.  We have the system in our
home on two computers complete with a firewall.  We

I did a reinstall and I have no sound. Everything checks
out but no sound. No Errors, sound card is in the
motherboard, drivers were updated. When you click on some
sound buttons it you can hear the sound trying to engage.

I am working on a new WINXP machine, with Office 2000.

I have a problem with the windows logon.  I want to have windows desktop to
open without any user logon screen needed.  I tried disabling the
administrator logon and just using the 'Owner' logon (no password required)
Now every I power up I get a msg saying this user logon is ...
