I'm new at this but can't copy a learning
cd file from the cd to my hard drive.
I followed instructions, unchecked the hide file

My client has managed to delete all his users incuding
administrator and guest accounts.  As a result the pc
hangs on the WinXp logo and does not offer any logon
options thus there is no way of entering the system.

I have been updateing the IE 6.0 and I'm begining to wonder if something

windows\system32\config\system was corrupt. I had a considerable amount of

Something has happened to my XPPro Explorer.  When I receive a message with
a link in it or when I am on the WWW and try to open a link on that page.
(i.e. Outlook Express with message text containing a hyperlink) the smaller
window starts to open and then freezes.  Cause - Remedy?

With my previous Win95 machine, it was recommended to close all programs
before installing new software.  This included using CAD to go into the
close programs box and shut down everything except Explorer and Systray.
What about XP?  Should I go into Task Manager and shut down ...
