they seem to be ok with "incoming" entered as "pop.netzero.net" and "outgoing
as "smpt.netzero.net". but still rcvg ...

process and go directly to the desktop on Windows XP and
got a response on how to do this.  I have now encountered
the following problem...when I applyed the new settings

her she has windows xp and I have windows 2000.
Does she have  to buy microsoft office to open word

How do I adjust the brightness level for my monitor ? I've checked all through the screens - adjust high/real color, screen resolution, refresh rate, etc etc
My screen is too light - I miss some of the lighter colored icons

My computer (HP Laptop w/Windows XP Homeseems to be trying to boot from a network every time I start it.  I get a message about searching for a "Client Mac addr" and then it eventually says "Operating System not found."  HP told me to try to do a "Repair" from some Windows XP ...

I am thinking about buying the hp media center pc as a
standalone pc to connect to my 32" widescreen TV. I have 2
questions. What is the issue with Sky channels ie can I
view them with the media center pc? Secondly, I read a lot

In the utilities the disk clean up does not work this is the second time.  The first time We had to reformate the  hard drive is this necessary?

where is the clipboard in xp? i looked in my system32 folder for the clipbrd. file and there was none????

The text box in which u enter your Username for certain sites in some
instances a namelist pops to select your choice.
Where is this namelist stored. I originally suspected it to be cookies
but after deleting my cookies this namelist still exist but where...
