How do I know if I have WinXP student edition or WinXP home edition?  Also, my cousin just bought WinXP student edition, and I am wondering if we can put me on her loging names and then have me use it too.

I have no statistics, but I used to use Disk Cleanup before and it worked
very fast. About 1 month ago I switched from FAT32 to NTFS and today tried

I can no longer access floppy disks, although Windows says my "floppy
controller" is working properly. This is new following a computer crash,
which event either caused the computer to lose this functionality or caused
me to lose my functionality in executing it.

I have a user that just got a new pc and we want to limit
their privileges.  The computer has XP on it.  When I
reduce their privileges to limited instead of
administrator, they can't access their mail or telnet.  

Used  Files and Settings Transfer Wizard to back up a
users profile and then did a clean install. Now when I
run the transfer wizard to restore the accounts It
finishes and logs off. And nothing now accounts restored.

Where can I get a COMPLETE list of voice commands for
speech recognition to use with Word 2002. For example, if
I need a way to speak a word with all caps, or capitalize
the first letter of a word mid-sentence, how would I do

I have 3 PC's in the house, all having the same hardware and OS (Win XP
Home).  2 of the 3 PC's will run programs OK, but the 3rd, my daughters,
will not run 'setup' files from the CD-ROM.  The CD and CD player are
working OK as I can access the CD directory and files such as .doc,  ...

when i save pictures off the internet the only option it gives me in the "save as type" box is bitmap.how can i change the settings or options to save as jpeg?

What are these files in the Windows/Temp folder...
