I tried the diskettes at home to format them. But they were write protected. I went to Staples and got a 10 pack of new ones. Got home and tried to format one of them.

I underestand Automated System Recovery is a replacement for ERD ( am I correct?) The problem that i have with ASR is it created massive backup file (more than one gig). Am i missing something?

Upgrading network pcs to XP Pro. Created desktop for user, but when someone else logged onto same pc they received a totally different desktop. I don't want to have to re-create the same desktop for everyone.
