I have changed the name of a user (it is the original or
first user) in my XP (home edition) set-up, but the folder
for that user under "Documents and Settings" is still the
old name, and XP won't let me change it manually.  How do

After setting up a mail account in Outlook Express 6 and
checking the remember password box, the password is not
remembered.  Is this the fault of Outlook Express 6 or is

I just got my computer and installed windows XP........I
have nothing on my computer but norton antivirus, windows
and my internet provider which is aol canada. My problem
is this everytime I'm on the internet doing something

Although machine works OK in AOL narrow band, when I tried to convert to broadband the drivers would not load.  AOL claim the fault is with XP.   Any suggestions please?

I was able to re-enable user switching by removing client
ware, however, when I turn on the computer it restarts in
the administrator account and not at the log on screen.  
How can I fix this?

I just upgraded from ME to XP Pro.  When I Download the
upgrades and service packs they say they are downloaded
and sucessfully installed.  I reboot as required, and
they are not there, and the upgrade scanner says we need

My pc has Window XP and PowerDVD 6.
I can play some DVDs and I can't play other DVDs. Can't
figure out what was the common error. I compared those
DVDs that I rented from the shop. Both of them have the

Is there a way to permanently set the password? I don't
want to eliminate the need to enter the password each
time, I just don't want to have to change it every 30+
days.
