I have a HP Pavilion a420n running XP home. The computer seems to be running fine except for one HP installed program which attempts to configure "Fax" whenever it is launched so I have to go to Task Mgr to shut it down.

I sometimes 3 iterations of the process ybrowser working at the same time. This slows down the machine to a crawl. When I delete the copies the machine usually works ine. . what is the problem? How do I fix it?

Just bought XP Pro upgrade, installed it and all went fine went fine until, after install, it said video drivers are not compatible, etc. Went into safe mode to remove drivers, so they could be re-detected - but nothing. Computer re-boots, you see the XP logo, etc. then screen ...
