When I start the computer, The welcome screen comes up. When I click on the
user, it starts to come up, then goes to log off. Only option I have to
click on is "turn off the computer".  Then it just starts over again with
the log on screen.

When using window update and down loading critical updates.  Updates are installed successfully but when I check for new updates the old updates show up again as not installed.  How do I fix?

I am logged on as the administrator, and I am trying to do a backup. When I go to Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools, Backup is not listed. I am supposed to be logged on as Administrator to do back up, and I am , but Back up is gone?

If I have a Intel Processor on a hyperthread enabled motherboard the
processor shows up as two processors even though it is physically just one.
