video works on boot up, after the windows xp symbol is shown screen goes blank
tried to start in safe mode, but same thing happens after windows starts up the screen goes blank. any ideas?  

My home page and other web pages only consume about half my screen, leaving the remaining half blank (just plain blue).  Any ideas about how to get my pages to take up the entire screen
